Hi, I’m Amelie and after a long and busy summer it’s about time to go back to school!
But now I’m in for one BIG change…MIDDLE SCHOOL!! That means, new school, riding the bus, new people and learning to use the dreaded LOCKER!
I don’t know who my teacher is or if any of my friends are in my class so it’s kind of scary. I’ll know when I get my letter in the mail.
I don’t know what the homework situation will be.
Last year my teacher was so nice and absolutely made me love math and school in general!
I do have two major concerns – masks, because there are the parents saying “unmask our kids”, but they’re the only thing that will keep us safe! Then there’s online learning if we have to do that again, and I absolutely hated online learning.
I wish I could be with my fourth grade teacher and friends again – It makes me so sad.
But then, every year has been different and I did well in school. Hopefully this year will be a little different in a good way too.
