
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning from 11 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18.
Southwest winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected.
According to the notice, damaging winds will bring down numerous tree limbs, as well as scattered downed trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Everyone should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
