Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
This is a municipal election in which you will have the opportunity to choose your local leaders.
All voting will take place at the High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road [Gymnasium, South Wing – Room 3, and the Senior Cafe] from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting machines will be used.
Absentee Ballots will be counted at the Orange Town Hall.
The ballot is pretty simple, Democrats and Republicans, no Independents or other third-party candidates this time around.
The Democrats are listed on Line A, Republicans on line B.
Two significant changes are that longtime Town Clerk Patrick O’Sullivan, a “given” in the past and Tax Collector Sandra Pearson both are retiring and their offices need to be filled by new faces. So pay close attention when you get to columns 6 and 7 and choose wisely. Who do you think will do the best job? Who would you look forward to seeing when you go to Town Hall on official business?
