As you may have noticed, the Orange Live site seems to have been stagnant lately.
Something is going on with the format, If I post three stories a day, only the most recent shows up on the front page. After 13 years, I am at a loss, I don’t know how to fix it, so I cross post everything on the Orange Live Facebook page. It certainly draws traffic to the site, but I know that not everyone uses Facebook.
If you log into Orange Live and hope to see something, it’s pretty easy.
Below the Header, you will see a list of items and at the end is a magnifying glass. For upcoming events, click on the calendar link. For anything else, Veterans’ Day coverage, Menorah Lighting, Craft Fairs, etc, click on the magnifying glass and type in the subject, you should be able to find what you’re looking for rather quickly. The more specific the better i.e: “Veterans 2025.”
In the meantime, I’m putting a shout-out for someone that knows coding and has worked with WordPress. I have not taken a paycheck for 13 years, so I don’t have a lot of disposable income, but I would be able to pay something for the help. The “fix” could be as easy as checking a box in the cache section, but I don’t mess with any of the back end stuff for fear I’ll make it worse.
FYI: In 2009 I had damage to the frontal lobe of my brain after a series of strokes. Reading comprehension is not my Forte, so I can’t read and understand most of what I look at, so Coding is not something I can do after studying a tutorial.
