The Orange Bicentennial Committee chaired by former Town Clerk Pat O’Sullivan, has revealed the official Bicentennial Logo.O’Sullivan contacted local resident Michael Ulrich who proposed a logo to Commemorative Items Chair Mitch Goldblatt. After soliciting input from Committee members, the logo was modified by Ulrich, and the final design was approved last week.
Goldblatt said that the logo will be used in printed matter for the Bicentennial and will appear on several souvenir items throughout the “Summer of Celebration” of 2022.
He is encouraging everyone involved in promoting the Orange Bicentennial to use the logo and the committee will be offering items for sale as will other local civic groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, Orange Community Women, the Orange Lions Club, and others.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for residents to purchase items that will help everyone get into the spirit of this very special year in our town’s history,” said Goldblatt.
