On Monday, Feb. 28, Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Home Depot, 440 Boston Post Road at 3:14 p.m.
During the investigation, officers were directed to Marcos M. Medero, 43, of New Haven. It was discovered that Medero took $238 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Medero was held on a $500 bond and received a court date of March 1.
