Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at 25 Boston Post Road (Target) at 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
During the investigation, officers spoke with Jennifer L. Vallombroso, 48, of East Haven. It was discovered that she stole $1,379 worth of merchandise.
Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
According to the report, Vallombroso was held on a $1,500 bond and received a court date of Nov. 25.
