
On Thursday, Feb. 12 at 8:39 p.m. officers responded to the Orange Police Department to process Luis Alves, 38, of Shelton, who was turning himself in on an active arrest warrant.
According to the report, the warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on Dec. 16, 2025 in the Trader Joe’s parking lot.
Subsequently, Alves was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and soliciting sexual acts.
He posted a $25,000 bond and received a court date of Feb. 26.
