Orange police were called to Target, 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint on July 16 at 7:38 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Erica L. Flanagan, 35, of Milford took more than $500 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
She was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny.
Flanagan received a promise to appear in court on July 28.
