Orange Police were dispatched to the Valero Gas Station, 347 Boston Post Road at 8:02 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, on a report that an Uber driver had threatened a passenger. Investigation revealed that the driver, Bernard J. Donihee, 53, of Norwich had brandished a taser while driving the other party to his destination.
Donihee was taken into custody and charged with two counts of carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle.
He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
He will face these charges in Milford Court on January 13.
