Police Blotter: Orange Police Find A Weapon In A Car During A Stop

At 5:51 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, Orange Police observed a motor vehicle on Derby Avenue without a registration plate.  A query was done on the back plate and revealed that the plate belonged to a different vehicle. 
Officers pulled the car over and spoke with the driver, Ronald A. Gogliettino, 29, of New Haven.  The vehicle was inventoried prior to being towed and a weapon was located within the vehicle. 
Subsequently, Gogliettino was taken into custody and charged with carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license and improper use of a license plate. 
 Gogliettino posted a $1,000 bond and received a court date of Oct. 14.
