On Thursday, Jan. 15, at 11:37 p.m., Orange police responded to Derby Avenue regarding an altercation between two individuals.
The investigation revealed that Sean D. Lainey, 37, of Orange, was involved in the altercation which turned physical in nature when he bit another individual.
Lainey was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and given a court date of Jan. 16.
