At 10:19 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, officers responded to the area of Bob’s Discount Furniture regarding a car parked in the middle of the Boston Post Road and facing in the wrong direction.

According to the report, the driver, Crystal N. Corzo, 34, of Bridgeport appeared to be disoriented.

Officers administered Standardized Sobriety Field Tests and Corso was taken into custody and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

She was asked to perform Standardized Sobriety Field Tests. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged.

She was released after posting a $50 cash bond and received a court date of May 13.

On Friday, Jan. 29, officers observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and blowing through a red stoplight on Old Tavern Road at 10:08 p.m.  

During the traffic stop, police spoke to the driver, Christopher J. Celone, 43, of Orange who was slurring his speech. 

He was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. 

Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and failure to obey a traffic signal. 

Celone was released after posting a $500 bond and given a court date of Feb. 22.

On Friday, Aug. 9 at 12:30 a.m. Orange Police Officers were completing a routine traffic detail on the Boston Post Road when they reportedly observed a motor vehicle proceeding erratically.

Police stopped the car, driven by Lashawna C. Cardoza, 31, of West Haven, and administered standardized field sobriety tests.

Cardoza was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

She was released on $50 bond for court on Aug. 23.

On Friday, July 6, Orange police were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Dentree Drive at 5:33 p.m.

During the investigation, officers discovered that Barira A. Chaudhry, 25, of Hamden struck multiple vehicles and proceeded to keep driving. 

According to the report, she was having difficulties keeping her eyes open. 

Police administered Standardized Sobriety Field Tests after which Chaudhry was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

She was released on $50 bond for court July 19.

On Sunday, June 23 at 2:08 a.m., Orange patrol officers stopped a car that did not have Its lights illuminated on the Boston Post Road at Racebrook Road.

During the stop, officers administered field sobriety tests on Tayler J. Ross, 29, of West Haven. After which she was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to insure a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and driving without a license.

Ross posted a $50 bond for court July 8.

Orange police on patrol reportedly observed a car drifting in and out of its lane on Derby Avenue near Orange Center Road on July 5 at 1:48 a.m.

Officers stopped the vehicle and during the investigation determined that the driver, Sherone L Ndiaye, 32, New Haven, was driving under the influence.

Ndiaye was taken into custody and charged with DUI, failure to maintain a proper lane and possession of less than 5 ounces of marijuana.

He was released on a $50 non-surety bond for court July 19.

On Jan. 20 at 7:42 p.m. Orange police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Old Tavern Road that included injuries.

Upon speaking to the involved drivers, officers had one of them, identified as Peter Bresh, 20, of West Haven, perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.

He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and following too close.

Bresh was released after posting $50 bond for court Feb. 2.

On Dec. 16 at 1:53 a.m., Orange Police located a vehicle sitting stationary in the intersection of Route 1 and Lambert Roads, not responding to the changing traffic light.

Officers approached the vehicle and found the driver asleep at the wheel. He was woken up and asked to perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.

He was subsequently taken into custody and charged.

According to the report, Brian Smith, 51, of Milford [Not the former Radio Personality] was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Smith was released after posting $50 bond. He is to be in court on Jan. 3.

Officers woke Ruggiero, placed the car in ‘Park’, and had him perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.

He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving without a license.

He was released after posting $50 bond for court Oct. 11.
