The combination of light onshore winds and increasing low-level moisture ahead of a warm front has resulted in the formation of fog across the area.
Visibilities of 1 mile or less are expected to prevail through the overnight hours.
Locally dense fog is also possible, especially on Long Island and along coastal Connecticut.
