With the ever-changing forecast it’s hard to predict what we can expect and when.
Crew Chief Donny Foyer said the men put chains on the truck tires and the tires of the loader, which will be brought out to take care of any frees that are damaged due to the storm.
The town workers are resting up now, so they will be wide awake and sharp when they report to the garage at midnight and head out to clear the roads with their fully loaded plow trucks.
Contractors will report to work at 5 a.m.
Foyer said this storm may be tough because the light and fluffy snow blows across the windshields and makes it hard for the drivers to see. It’s going to be a very long, very cold day for the crews.
“It’s nothing we haven’t handled before,” Foyer said.
