Orange police responded to an unwanted person complaint at 96 Boston Post Road (Dollar Tree) on Friday, Dec. 12 at 3:30 p.m.
According to police the report, Christopher A. Creta, 44, of Meriden was asked to leave the store and caused a commotion breaking part of a door and acting threatening towards staff upon exiting.
Upon arrival, officers came into contact with Creta. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree threatening.
Creta received a promise to appear in court on Dec. 15.
