On Friday, Aug. 9, at 10:50 a.m. officers responded to the Orange Police Headquarters to process Brian R. Grenfell, 46, of New Haven, who was brought in on an active arrest warrant by the Yale Police Department.
The warrant stemmed from an Aug. 15, 2023 incident at the Duchess Restaurant on the Boston Post Road.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, and fifth-degree larceny.
Grenfell was held on a $5,000 bond and received a court date of Aug. 12.
