Orange police responded to a wrong way driver on Derby Avenue on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:26 p.m.
According to the report, officers completed a motor vehicle stop and spoke with Sara B. Barrera-Corado, 34, of Bridgeport, who was driving with a toddler in the vehicle.
During the investigation, officers immediately detected the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage on her person.
Police said Barrera-Corado was asked to perform Standardized Sobriety Field Tests. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, second-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor.
Barrera-Corado posted a $50,000 bond and received a court date of July 30.
